Mr. Schaeffer is very professional. He met with the insurance adjuster and discussed the problems. They were prompt in scheduling the work and cleaned up after the job was done. We were very pleased and recommended him to several neighbors.

John Cox was referred to us by friends who had done a kitchen/family room remodel several years ago and were very pleased. We needed remodeling of our outside patio area and a bedroom due to water damage & rotten wood. John met with us several times and worked with us on our budget which was huge because we had no idea where to start. He helped us understand what steps should be completed first and things that were important to get done while it was under construction (like new windows). It was all finished in a timely manner and his staff were efficient and very nice. John was always stopping by to check on things too. We are "over the top" pleased and are already thinking about what our next plan with the house will be!

Remodeled our home after water had flooded 80% of the house. Work included relocation of all furniture, removal of water damaged walls, floors and cabinets, reconstruction of walls, installation of new wood and tile floors, rebuild walk-in shower, rebuild tub and its enclosure, installation of new cabinets and repaint the entire inside of the house. The entire process from working with our insurace company, developing a plan, demolition and reconstruction went very well. Coxco's owners and crews were very professional and completed this reconstruction within budget and met the schedule they had promised. Definitly a company I would retain for this type of work again.

Replaced fence on three sides of property. We are at the bottom of a circle and have a long fence line along the alley. The rains caused some delays but the craftsmanship is excellent. We had a couple of small problems but they were quickly and amicably resolved. Jon Schaeffer was a pleasure to work with.

Repaired a garage that had been badly damaged due to a collision with a car.

The provider replaced my whole roof, including the patio roof along with installing new vents. They also replaced a solar power vent with a passive unit due to the fact that the previous roofer placed this unit in such a place that 50% of its work was drawing in outside air through two other vents right next to the solar unit inside of it only drawing air out of the attic. It should be noted that my house is a two-story house which would cost a little more to replace than a one-story unit. Everything went well. When I called the wrong number to make sure they arrived at the same time as my insurance agent, they sent out the owner to ensure everything went fine. When the roof was replaced, they did forget to replace the solar powered vent but only a few days later, they came back and finished the work. The roof does look great and no leaks as far as I can see.

The company did not pressure me to upgrade the shingles but when presented professionally with the facts, I did up grade the shingles along with the Golden Package warranty which I am very glad it was done. Now I do not have to worry about the roof for 25 years!

All workers were professional and professionally dressed. They cleaned up quite well with only some dirty left in the garage which blew in during the cleanup process. However, they did not have access to inside the garage because we had a family event to attend when the work was completed. Otherwise, they would have cleaned this up too.

They were very easy to work with over both the phone or by email. The quote was easy to read and the additional information by shingle upgrade and warranty details was presented well.

Our insurer initiated our claim to repair our property caused by hail damage to both the house and shed roof, fence, and water damage to the ceiling of one room. After reviewing on-line several companies operating in our area where we could see the quality and workmanship, we selected Coxco because they were a General Contractor so we would not have to deal with separate companies. We also knew there were a few non-insurance items that they could do. Coxco's representative, Tony Franklin, was knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. He was familiar with insurance claims.

We also met with our insurance adjuster who led us through the process.

We chose to upgrade the roof material. Also, the hail damage did not cover the whole fence so we agreed to make the fence finish consistent . Additionally, we chose to replace and paint fascia boards across the front of the house for cosmetic reasons. The original boards had been poorly installed.

Coxco then submitted a quote for all that we were planning on doing.

We accepted and scheduled for Coxco to start.

Throughout, Coxco kept us informed of each step of the work even adjusting the timing because of impending bad weather conditions.

Delivery of supplies on the driveway was coordinated to avoid interfering with access to our garage.

At each step of the way, Coxco appraised us of progress. It was not necessary for us to be present but it was interesting to watch them at work. The fascia boards were removed, replaced and painted without us being aware. We were impressed with the roof team and their workmanship. Each member performed their task smoothly.

The fence team diligently replaced badly damaged boards, power washed and stained the whole fence which now looks as good as new.

When it was time to fix the ceiling damage, we requested to have a feature wall painted since the painters had covered all the furniture. This was achieved professionally and the room looks as if there had never been a problem.

Overall, we were very pleased with our choice of Coxco.

They are at the final stages of finishing up the work that we have. At this point we've been in interaction with them for about six weeks. I can't say enough good things about them. They are professional, very straight forward, clear and they went in to some unexpected problems, they handled that very well. They followed the projected timelines and things. We're quite happy with the pricing, they're not the cheapest but I believe that you get what you pay for.

He painted the entire exterior of our home. He did an excellent job. He is a very reliable person to work with.

John and his team were on time, friendly and very enjoyable to work with. They finished the job on time and on budget. I would definitely recommend!

Replaced roof with, Divince state, Divince. Awe, same - Very efficient and finished as promised - no extra costs.

Had water damage from a leaking water heater. The insurance company said damage was only $16K. John Cox was able to get $35K covered. Had to do lead abatement, replace drywall and insulation, paint and refinish hardwood floors. It went great overall, except for the day that the floor people went into a room. They shouldn’t have and my dog ran out. The front door luckily safe was found and John did a few extra things form me to make up for it. House looks beautiful. Bob, John and Jessie were great to work with and very responsive. POH !!

Total roof replacement, along with gutter guards and screens. Coxco handled all the details of replacing our old, hail damaged roof, which included meeting personally with the insurance company during the inspection, walking us through the cumbersome insurance process, installing and completing the roof in a timely manner, having new gutters installed and some screens replaced, and then coming back quickly to take care of a few post-installation details we wanted handled. We basically paid for only the deductible and any extra items we wanted. John Cox kept us up to date with the status of the project, and the roofers were punctual and cleaned up all debris. Our new roof has survived several storms so far. We are very pleased and decided to use Coxco again for an interior remodeling project.

Coxco Contractors re-roofed my house from the decking all the way to roof shingles. Also redid all my Gutters. Also extended part of the roof over pool pump area.

John Cox from COXCO Contractors met with me at my house and we walked and talked the entire project. John seemed very knowledgeable about the project on hand. Also gave me info of the whole project of what was expected of his company and also what to expect when project was complete..

Also talked about discounts from various response organizations, one being discount for Veterans. Me being a Veteran I really appreciated John telling me about this. We have a pool near the roof so COXCO put a tarp over the entire pool. Half way through the project it started to rain. COXCO was prepared and put tarps over entire roof during the rain John from COXCO was there everyday and that made me feel very comfortable. John keep me up to date on how the project was going.

Significant roof damage caused by Raccoons as well as an actual hole at the bottom of the eve on on side of my house,

also caused by Raccoons. They were using the hole to enter my attic. Repairs were to the roof and completely ripping

out the "hole" area, included some rotted wood. The hole was replaced and repainted. Took care of all roof problems and the area where the hole was - You can never tell it was there.

Two young men worked half a day to complete the repairs. My only regret is I forgot to give them

a tip. Job was done immediately and well.

John Cox, the owner spent half an hour on my roof the previous Friday, took pictures, and then

showed me visably exactly what needed to be done.

This is the 2nd time I have used Coxco and they were ever bit as professional and efficient as they

were the first time I used them to reroof a 10 x 20 wooden shed that had been damaged by a falling tree.

If you are looking for a roofer, or general contractor for that matter, who you can FINALLY depend on,

Coxco is your company. John Cox has been heading up Coxco for 30-years and the experience is obvious.

I made an appointment for Rich from Coxco to come to my home and give me an estimate for several projects, including a bathroom remodel and some carpentry work. On the day of the appointment, when Rich was 1/2 hour late, I called the office to make sure that I had the right date and time. The secretary told me that the time was correct but that Rich had been tied up at 2 previous appointments and would be late. She said that she would contact him to find out when he would be at my home. I asked her to have him call me just before he came so that I would know when he was coming. No one came that day or the next, nor did they call to let me know that no one was coming. It is now multiple days later with no call, email, voice mail, or any other contact. With such good Angies List ratings, I am disappointed. Sadly, we had additional projects, including a full kitchen remodel, but wanted to see how well Coxco did the smaller ones before proceeding with the larger ones. I will not be using Coxco.

Update: The owner of the company contacted me the day after my first review. He apologized and explained what had happened, then he offered to come for the appointment himself. I really appreciate the way that the problem was handled.

We got three bids to get our roof replaced after the June 2012 storm. Coxco's bid was competitive; well below the highest and just a little above the lowest bid. We liked the Coxco salesman, who was knowledgeable and struck us as honest. Coxco worked directly with our insurance company. The initial estimate from our insurance company was low and our Coxco rep communicated with them until they came up quite a bit. We had never replaced a roof before and were unfamiliar with several specific places where the insurance company had missed the mark and also pointed out that we needed new gutters.

We decided to wait until the intense summer heat was behind us to roof and Coxco was very flexible with us on a date. We had a very slight problem afterwards with a back porch issue and Coxco came right out to see the problem and promptly fixed it.

We have a beautiful, quality roof. I would use Coxco again in a heartbeat!
